Johnnie's initial shock rapidly turned into pure rage. He couldn't believe her audacity. Still, he had many questions that needed answering. He did not have closure, but, more importantly, he could not deny it to himself that he wanted to see her, one last time. Curious about Susan had to say to him, he quickly put any thoughts of watching a movie with Mary aside. As a matter of fact, Johnnie was so eager to meet with her that he literally jumped out of bed, adding to Mary's curiosity.
