1997. Corruption is rampant in the heart of the rapidly collapsing Zimbabwean economy. After years of facilitating corrupt deals for the Vice President and senior government ministers, Fungai Moyo, a top civil servant wants to stop living a life of deceit. In his desperation to disappear overseas, Fungai makes a decision he can never undo. Stealing top secret official documents and two million dollars bribe money intended for the ruthless Vice President, Gondo, was not a good idea. Fungai is caught and tortured by Gondo's men.
