eSkiBook is a newly launched and profusely illustrated eSeries about ski resorts. The content is generally divided in two main sections. The first thus provides the reader with the information regarding the history, culture, key persons as well as legends of a given resort, while the second section describes all the ski possibilities that are offered in that resort. The eSkiBook is precisely conceived and supported by many full-screen (facing pages) maps and illustrations. It always tries to paraphrase the atmosphere and the identity of selected resorts. Simultaneously, the author gives a clear idea about skiing facilities around. If you are a beginner or an off-piste skier, you will gain an idea of where to ski, while as a tourist, you will gain an impression of what to expect from the place. Martin Zuzek is an anthropological researcher and a sworn skiing fan. When he was three years old, his parents put him on a pair of skis and initiated him into a fairy-tale of the Alpine resorts. Ever since, the Alps have remained his hidden Utopia, where he has sought retreat whenever possible; first as an absolutely enthusiastic youngster, and later on, when his studies sharpened his perspective, as a rational observer with a growing awareness of the fact that the identity of a particular resort is a cluster of history, facts, and legends. Nevertheless, the skiing itself has remained for him a principle of pure empiricism. When he talks about skiing, nothing matters more than the facts relating to the mountain and ski conditions.
