The Ancient Witnesses tells the story of Ari, Cesar, Joseph and Preacher, four modern-day pastors-in-training enrolled in a study tour on Ancient Christianity. While traveling in Nicaea, Turkey, the site of an ancient church council, the four discover the Athenaeum, a hidden library where patrons are enabled to read books written in any language and can interact with the authors of ancient Christian literature, including Augustine, Tertullian, and Ephrem the Syrian.
