As the returning planet "Wormwood" (also known as the "Destroyer") gets closer, trailing its debris of asteroids, Leon, the General, and Major Marks struggle to free themselves from the inner Earth and the clutches of a group of Annunaki, who have been awakened deep underground by their servants the Lizard People and the tall Greys.

Back on the surface, Leon's wife Mary and their daughter Jennie are thrown into the fight of their lives as the reality of the alien threat, and of the rogue planet, begin to be felt all over the world.

The rest of the ancient "gods" who inhabit the "Destroyer" plan to take over Earth with the help of their Earth-based kin, in the wake of the chaos and destruction they are bringing. As advanced as the Annunaki are, they did not predict the unforeseen opposition that is rising to meet them even as the meteors begin to fall.
