Tuesday Weld came to Hollywood in 1958 and was soon under contract with Paramount Pictures. A beautiful young woman, she demanded to be taken seriously as an actress from the beginning. She learned the ropes the hard way in tinseltown. Having trusted too many of the wrong people, she exuberantly advised young actresses to avoid the many pitfalls in Hollywood. Veteran actors like Jackie Gleason commented about Tuesday's obvious acting talent. The two of them starred with Steve McQueen in the 1963 movie "Soldier in the Rain". Gleason also noted that Tuesday just happened to be "a cutie".
