Horton is a partner in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Jones Walker LLP, where his primary focus is on the representation of physicians, physician organizations, hospitals and other health care providers in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, securities and corporate finance matters, regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. A nationally recognized speaker and author on healthcare, corporate law and professional responsibility topics, Mr. Horton has served for many years in leadership positions with both the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association Health Law Section.
