A teen girl wishes her anger didn't always get the best of her.
It's her last year of junior high, but fourteen-year-old Juliana doesn't get to graduate with her friends. Instead, her parents drag her half-way across the second largest country in the world to move in with a grandfather she barely knows.
It's anything but an adventure, and Juliana feels only anger at this unfair change in her life.
When her anger explodes in front of family she's met in person for the first time, she escapes to the musty basement of her new home. There, she discovers an old sketchbook of unknown people, struggles, and celebrations, all drawn by an artist about her age. She senses a connection to the book's creator, but who is this person? What do these drawings mean?
Most importantly, can Juliana undo the hurt and embarrassment her anger has caused so she can find out?
The Move is the first book in Lori Wolf-Heffner's uplifting YA series, Between Worlds, which follows two teenaged girls growing up a century apart.
