Beatle John Lennon once said that near the end of his life Rolling Stones' founder and guitarist Brian Jones was a tortured person. German model Anita Pallenberg has confirmed this fact in several published reminiscences of the Stones. Brian Jones died a mysterious death shortly after midnight on July 3, 1969. London builder Frank Thorogood and Jones' girlfriend were with him at the time. An initial statement released by the English band mentioned an asthma attack as a likely cause of death. Since then numerous death theories have abounded including a documentary that's soon to show on Netflix.
