It has been more than 25 years since the Romanian Revolution and they did not prove sufficient to clarify data of the Repression of December 1989, expressed in the number of dead, wounded, disabled, tortured, arrested people. The generation that took to the streets to overthrow the Dictatorship, meanwhile, has forgotten the tragedy that bloodied its history. Who fired? Why was it fired? Who gave the orders? Who was accounted for the committed actions? Who is guilty? So many people mimicked questions of a complicit lack of interest. Because, unfortunately, it does not exist the general will to thoroughly know the cruelty of the former Ceauşescu's regime, the only Eastern dictator who ordered to fire into his own people!
The changes of 1989 forced the communist nomenclatures to abdicate. Abandoned by Gorbachev, 'the red crowns' fell one by one – of course, in effigy! Only in Romania the 'method' did not work in favour of a change without bloodshed. A regime of discretionary, fallen power, – led by a Ruler who had lost touch with reality, defended by three political armies – Security, Army, Militia (themselves lead by servants in uniform) – prevented the inevitable change, preferring rather to die with the 'enemy'! The Security, Militia, Army fired at Timişoara! The Army, openly, the Security under the veil of darkness and disguise. The prisons of Timişoara were crowded by people arrested without rhyme or reason. Tortured, trampled, humiliated, interrogated by prosecutors with expeditious methods, wounded at legs, but discharged from hospitals with a bullet in head, the dead people in Timişoara sent to Bucharest to be cremated and their ashes thrown to the sewers- this is the last mask of Ceauşescu's Regime! And the Repression he was engaged in was the last spasm of the totalitarian beast before he bit the dust.
