A few days before 9/11, a number of unidentified people invested heavily in the stocks of American and Untied Airlines and Transamerica Insurance. They bought "put options" in the belief that the stocks would drop in price. After the attack, those men made 22.7 million dollars.

Fast forward to the present...

A brilliant economist has been fired and disgraced by the EU. He is planning his revenge. He will buy "put options" on the Euro in anticipation of a fall in the currency, which he will guarantee by killing the three individuals most responsible for holding the EU together.

Antagonist Willem Coetzee has gathered the remnants of the Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB) to pull off four of the greatest heists in modern times, in order to fund his operation.

American Code 6 operative, Paul Decker, and the beautiful, but deadly, Mossad officer, Alex Stern, pick up the sent and begin to pursue this deranged man.

The second half of the book is a pursuit through Europe of this madman by my protagonist, Paul Decker, and his counterpart, the beautiful Mossad agent, Alex Stern.

As the story evolves, so does the love affair between Paul and Alex.

Even with the assistance of Paul's brilliant East European hacker, Pavlik Lasky, they remain one step behind the fiend as he slices a path of death through the heart of Europe...a chase more intense that that of the Jackal stalking Charles De Gaulle.

The book presages the precarious nature of the EU and Euro and the desperate efforts of Germany and EU Banker Mario Draghi to preserve the union.

So entwined is the EU with other economies that the ripple effects of a crash would reverberate across the entire world
