In 1969 Yonkers' mobster John Mafioso was the victim of a frame-up involving attorneys for Babylon, New York nightclub owner Julius "Julie" Klein Jr. Klein was accused of murdering his brother-in-law in 1961 and was eventually sentenced to prison for killing go-go dancer/bank teller Irene Brandt. Brandt's abandoned Mustang was discovered near a Suffolk County train station. She was last seen leaving for lunch at her bank job in September 1966. Julius Klein's relationship with John Masiello pertained to the extortion of plastics company owner John Minuto.
