This book has been written in response to numerous suggestions and great interest of colleagues and students in the textile industry to note the various design aspects in the mechanics of the textile machineries. It provides information about the mechanics involved in the machineries like transmission of power through various means of driving arrangement available in the textile machineries. In addition, many practical problems have been included in the calculations of differential gear assembly in the speed frame process and also the design of cone drums in blow room/speed frame machineries.
