The study presents data and commentary from 116 academic library directors, deans and other high ranking library officials about their views of their own and other library cafes. The report contains highly specific data on the percentage of libraries that plan to expand or contract their cafes, as well as data on which institutional entity manages the library café. In addition, respondents rate their level of satisfaction with their library café, discuss what they like or dislike, and what precisely they plan for the future.Data in the report is broken out by many institutional and personal variables including but not limited to the age and gender of the administrator and the size, public/private status, student enrollment level, and tuition level of the respondent's institution.
