A flutter of fingers clicking away on typewriters and pen scraping paper filled the small office space, and the
smell of cedar, oil, and women's perfume permeated the air. Eva wore her pleated skirt that fell to her knees
and her soft peach button up blouse that clung to her large bosom, and a thin coat to keep her shoulders
warm. Her blonde hair was finger waved with a small pin to keep it from falling in her face on her first day of
work at the insurance office. Lewis, the office manager had just given her a tour of the facility and was getting
ready to show her to her work station.
His slick backed hair was black and greased and a thin mustache rested above his upper lip. His dark
brown eyes roved over her body when she had come to interview, but she ignored the appalling little man.
Even now, she noticed his eyes falling on her breasts more than her face when he spoke to her. It wasn't the
first time a man had noticed her figure. He guided her to a long row of interconnected desks, with three sleek,
black typewriters. Two women already filled the two outside stations, so that placed her plum in the middle.
She grinned. Center of attention was no problem for her.
