My book, THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE, has three dramatic short stories. The first short is called, "Fearsome Wild Life," it's about an exciting and dangerous adventure that Luna, her Husband Joel along with their close friends Jayne and her husband Carl embark on every year. They travel to their favorite place near Yellowstone's Park in Colorado to tag the new animals, and they've been doing it for 20 years. Except this year the animals don't want to cooperate.
"Intern Student," is when a Colorado medical student, Cole, gets cold foot when it's time to enter the field of medicine for the first time. The day before his first day of internship, Cole is scared to death that he won't be able to remember everything. His roommate Lars couldn't be more confident, which could be to his demise.
The last of the three shorts is called, "Our Last Vacation." Martha must tell her son that she is in her last stage of life. She decides to tell him on their yearly vacation. They've been going to the same cottage since George was 10. When she breaks the news, he doesn't take it well. He wasn't prepared for this to be their last vacation.
