My heart was full of joy and gratitude as I looked around the table at my friends. What a difference a few months makes when you finally turn everything over to God.
My husband Barry squeezed my hand under the table as we discussed wedding plans for our new family. How I wished I had become close to Debbie, Don, Kylie, Joe and Julie much sooner! But then life may not have turned out as wonderful as it was at this moment. Working through our mistakes, missteps, bad choices and turmoil helps to make us better, gives us greater understanding and makes us more grateful for the good in our lives.
