This book presents the rhetorical means of creating discourses about a writer and examines how the critic's viewpoint mediated via rhetoric tropes interplays with cultural institutions and their rules (newspaper criticism, university, schools). It eventually shows the place of literature in culture and the workings of cultural memory. The book studies rhetorics, discourse, and social psychology applied to cultural institutions. In this respect, it offers a completely innovative approach and method. The author also provides an exemplary study of the famous Polish modernist poet and writer Miron BiaƂoszewski, and presents a detailed guide and an account of his way towards becoming a major figure in Polish culture.
