The Canada Goose hit the Cessna exploding the aging acrylic windshield into dozens of slicing slivers of plastic that ripped throughout the interior of the plane instantly killing the pilot and injuring the other eight passengers. Crashing into the tundra, the plane came to a stop resting atop a snow-covered frozen Alaskan lake. After exiting the mangled wreckage, Carl and his family raced against the sound of the cracking ice to escape to the nearby shore. Trained by the U.S. Army as a Physician Assistant, Carl treated his injured family as they watched the plane slowly slip below the surface taking the pilot to a watery grave.
