Frankie Roche was a Westfield, Massachusetts mobster who first encountered noteworthy trouble with police in October 1974. He is best known as the assassin of Massachusetts Mafia boss Angelo "Big Al" Bruno. Bruno, of Agawam, MA, was tried for attempted murder in 1981. By 1993 he had become the #2 mobster in western Massachusetts. The fatal hit of Big Al occurred on November 23, 2003. His killer had stalked him and eventually caught up to him exiting a club the hoodlum frequented.
