A lot of things can happen to a young woman in life. Especially when her father's a homicide investigator and meets a lot of people. In Constance's case her father decided Quintin McCord was the man she should marry, although she wasn't crazy about the idea. He could take care of her. But after ten years of being married to the sport fisherman/ex-lawyer, she meets the man of her dreams, the Chief of Police Joe Novelli. The only problem is they're both married, and it only gets more complicated when murders start happening on the beach, known as Watchman's Point, across from the island that she shares with her husband. Things get only more interesting when her husband's ex-girlfriend Jonita shows up.
