Hell really does exist

This book should be read after "Diary of a Journey through Hell".

You have read Rachel's dairy, now read Kris's side of the story. Find out why he agreed to act as a guide for Rachel and Robert and what he did when he wasn't with them.

Kris is a demi-god, the son of War and the grandson of Hades. He lives in Hell, literally.

When his uncle, Death, asked him to escort some humans around Hell, Kris didn't realise hiding who and what he was would be so difficult, or how annoying humans could be.

He has no idea why Death has kidnapped Robert's girlfriend. All he knows is that Robert and his best friend, Rachel, must face challenges set by his family in order to win her back.

As they travel, Kris learns a lot about the pair and begins to wonder if there is more to their relationship than they are letting on. When he finds himself falling for Rachel, preventing himself from helping them becomes harder and harder, as does hiding his true feelings. When Rachel meets his cousin, Ankou, her reaction tells him he has lost any chance he ever had of winning her heart.

As he shows them the wonders, and horrors, that Hell contains, he discovers that members of his family are betraying him, but nothing can prepare him for the ultimate betrayal that is to come.

Will Rachel and Robert pass all of the tests they must face and can Kris keep them alive until they reach Death? What will Kris do when they reach their final destination and Rachel wants to leave Hell and all he wants her to do is stay?

This is a fantasy novel, mainly set in the underworld, where readers get to meet a god, numerous demi-gods, the four horsemen of the apocalypse and a number of mythological creatures.
