Two of Chandra's cousins are gone and Kavaugn has fled, everyone is breathing a bit easier now that Theryn has no sorcerers fighting on his side.

Theryn has used spells to speed the hatching of the wyvern eggs but these new hatchlings lack the years of fighting experience the dragons have. The wyvern soldiers aren't organized and the dragons believe they can finally win this war.

Their faith is shaken when a slim, cigarette-smoking, motorcycle-riding, sorcerer arrives on the scene as part of Theryn's new sorcerer duo. He nabs Chandra from beneath Chase's nose using a spell that Fredrick can't track.

Risleigh is more menacing than Chandra's cousins could ever be. Could this be the end of the Chosen?
