This handbook is a compilation and simplification with modification of the most frequently used methods obtained from the American Public Health Association (APHA), the American Society for Testing of Materials (ASTM), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), and the manual of chemical and biological methods for seawater analysis (Parsons et al., 1984). It also includes a brief introduction, background and fundamental understanding on each water quality parameter, some good laboratory practices and simplified diagrams of the methodologies to ease the users' understanding.
