Arthur Intrator was a Jewish-American mobster who was closely associated with the Gambino crime syndicate. Intrator was a lynchpin of a shakedown operation that cost taxi drivers at Idlewild Airport more that $500,000 annually. The racket was broken up at the outset of the 1960s.
