Aidan now has his own business and things are going well.

There's only one problem and that's the black cat that stalks him when he delivers to the old woman out in the woods. How can he be more afraid of a little cat than a beast in a castle.

Then there's the old woman's inability to keep any of her animals alive (apart from the damn cat) and he finds himself once again drawn into the perilous world of magic and monsters.
