The reasons for divorce may be many. But we can categorize broadly in three major categories, Viz. economic (income, increase of income of wife after marriage, dowry, insolvency etc.), social (habit of drinking, social customs, disparity of social status between husband and wife, change of social status after marriage) and physical (adultery, unhappy physical encounters etc.). The first night is always very important for the newlywed couple. None can predict how the other person will react to any of the movement, both physical and verbal, initiated by one of the partner. In India, mostly the male initiate the first move. If the first move on the first night is not correct from the initiator it may end up with some bad blood between the newlywed couple. Sometimes that blood is enough for the seeding of a divorce or annulment of a marriage.
