It begins with a bad dream: a Nightmare in the mind of a kitten who's part of a legendary line of Dreamers—animals who have the power to see the future. Soon the Dream is realized as the kitten and her friends in the Valleys face the mysterious disappearances of other animals in their homeland. When they too are captured, it solves the mystery of the vanishings but opens up a whole new realm of questions as they are transformed into morphers, animals who are able to change into humans at will. Now unable to return to their original lives, they must now face a new way of life and those who took such drastic measures to change them.
