Luigie LoBue was a Genovese soldier who was closely connected to the French Connection multinational drug syndicate. Masterminded by mobster Charles "Lucky" Luciano, the criminal organization flourished in the 1950s and early 1960s. LoBue was linked to heroin smugglers who brought illegal narcotics to the United States via valises carried by uniwitting ship passengers. Many of the people carrying the heroin actually thought they were transporting diamonds. LoBue operated a pizza parlor as his legal business venture. My e-book examines the pursuit, conviction and appeals of LoBue and his numerous Mafia co-defendants.
