Anthony Porcelli was a Genovese family soldier closely linked to international drug smuggling and trafficking operations. Among these was the notorious French Connection drug ring masterminded by exiled Mafioso Charles "Lucky" Luciano. Among Porcelli's closest criminal confederates were Vincent "Vinny" Mauro, Frankie "the Bug" Caruso and Joseph "Joe Cargo" Valachi. Attrition in the dope ring was high. Among the more unfortunate heroin traffickers was Alberto Agueci. His charred and dismembered body was found in a Rochester, New York field around Thanksgiving 1961.
