At school Brye and Emma planned on escaping to study in London, Emma to act, Brye to sing. They worked, won those scholarships, and then Brye had to stay behind to help his family because his step-father had a stroke. Three and a half years later, Emma is returning, a well trained actress with a promising future, and Brye, now free, has to find a way to convince her he hasn't changed a bit.
