Catlin stood beneath The Olde Book Shoppe sign, gazing at an illustration in an old Fairy Tale book which lay open in the display window of a mother sitting in a garden with a little girl at her knee. Catlin's heart ached for her mother and the happy times they had spent together. The sadness that was always with her seemed to disappear for a moment as she gazed at the lovely scene.
