We all have a need for acceptance and approval from others. It is one of the deepest needs of the human heart, and we all feel its pull.
We can look in all the wrong places for that sense of approval and acceptance, but we can only find it in God Himself. Nowhere else.
When we live securely in God's love, we are not prisoners seeking the approval of others. We no longer need the acceptance and approval of others to make us feel worthwhile. We carry a sense of value and worth within ourselves, because we know we are loved by God.
