The Sorceress Saga: Book 3

RAGING STORMS AND SHADOWED THREATS

Before Aria knows up from down, she becomes Mother Elf. Kind of. Yes, Eldaernth ascended into the stars and named her his heir with all the faith in the universe, but she still has lessons to complete. Until that time, Trae is her designated Regent. Trae shall assist her to fulfill her duties, promises, and studies until she is fully ready to rule the fae world.

Then a bump is encountered. This unexpected bump anchors her fated journey to a thundering halt, which leads her to accidentally break her first promise. Unfortunately, bumps in the sea of her destiny are the least of her worries. Ships maneuver waves and storms all the time, and her friends and newfound family are more than willing to support her. Guide her. Defend her. Break rules for her. Happiness is what is important.

So as everyone's attention redirects to the miracle of this unexpected situation, accompanied by uncontrollable storms that darken the sky and soak the deck, an even more unforeseen threat emerges from the shadows of the Desert Lands. A terrible place for the banished within the Valley of Lost Souls. The crew barely has time to react. Arrows fly, large rocks and cannonballs crash into the side of Trae's magnificent ship, Nicholas' magic shield goes up. Chaos fills the air and Aria's senses.

The crew is forced to temporarily seek shelter, which lands Aria, Nicholas, and a disguised Trae on Carimaca. Except shelter is not quite what they find when Aria learns why Trae is disguised.

Elves are not welcome in Carimaca. Trae in particular.

Aria and friends are chased off Carimaca and back into danger, where Aria must be Mother Elf ready or not. She must show how strong, resourceful, and calculated she can be. She must use abilities not yet learned. She must put aside her personal needs, desires, and fears for the sake of her promised duties.
