Getting a new puppy can be exciting and a great adventure for you and your family.  Unfortunately, it can also be devastating if you don't do things right even before you bring your puppy home. 
By not doing your research, and making sure that you know what you're doing, things can fall apart and your once happy home can turn into a place that feels out of control. 
Puppies can be a lot of work, but they are also worth all the work.  They are lots of fun and bring lots of fun into the home.  For most families, a dog becomes like a member of the family.  By taking the time to do things the right way from the beginning, you will build a bond between you and your dog that will last a lifetime. 
We will first look at the basics of puppy training and a few things to consider before you even bring your puppy home.  After that we will talk about house training your puppy.  Following the discussion on house training, we'll talk about obedience.  Then we'll have a chapter on biting, because all dogs bite and chew.  And last, but not least, we will talk about a few tricks and other tips for your puppy training.
