The fictional story revolves around the protagonists of the story, Ramen Barua, underworld Don of Guwahati (Dispur), State capital of Assam and Vishakha, a poor girl whose father abandoned her mother after birth of her younger sister, who had been vulnerable from everyone for all types of exploitation.
I borrowed the character of Konlora from a real character who was appointed by the proprietor of Prag Jyoti Cinema, Maligaon, Guwahati in early eighties to control Q. I saw this giant when I was a student of Cotton College. After few months we heard that he was beaten up by a Taekwondo player , half of the size of the giant, who later on became a senior police officer of Assam Police. We again heard, later on, the giant was appointed as a constable by the same police officer when he became the SP of the district from where giant came from.
