After two hundred years of death and chaos, the Telum war is over, but the real struggle for survival has only just begun. With no king, the remaining Telums run wild and unbound by the Law that has governed them for six millennia. And the council, who is supposed to bring order to the Telums, cowers in silence and shadow.

However, all Telums agree on one thing: Seth Moor must die for his sins against the Telum throne. And so must any who ally themselves with him, no matter who or what they are.

But Seth Moor is not ready to die. With the aid of two orphans and the being known as Ink, Seth desperately searches for a way to overcome his past failures and present enemies so he can live to face the next war darkening the horizon.
