Introduction

I was talking to a friend of mine about ancient rituals, which have been practiced for ages , for generations and which have now been integrated into a normal part of their daily routine and lifestyles.

She asked me if I had found any similarity in the rituals which had been practiced, in different places all over the world or possibly any differences. When I began to analyze and think of all the rituals and the practices which one did, early in the morning in many places all over the world, I was surprised to see a large number of similarities which had been passed down from generation to generation.

They were not region specific. They were also not religion specific. However they had a number of things in common, and that is why this book was going to tell you all about these practices which are followed all over the world.

Along with this you may find some controversial statements and practices given in this book, upon the reading of which you are going to say, 'no, I never heard of this, because on the internet something else is written about drinking 8 glasses of water per day and that is what the doctor suggested and all that jazz. I really cannot believe that you are telling me to reduce my water intake... You crazy or something?

The craziness? That ain't necessarily so. There is a particular scientific reason behind every single ritual, which was done in ancient times.
