Long ago in Japan, a husband and wife lived by a river. They had no children and were sad. One day, the wife found a peach in the river, and there was a baby boy inside! They named him Momotaro. When Momotaro grew up, he left to find the monsters that had been attacking his village. He made friends along the way who helped him win against the monsters. Momotaro returned to his parents, who were very proud of him.
