The novice Rangers get their base set up, unpack the equipment, and begin training. However, the one problem they face, they have no idea how to solve; how to stop the corrupted AI that was keeping the eons old war going while keeping their planet and sector free, as well as protect the independent AI node that is helping them, safe. In the process, they sow the seeds for a new alliance.
