Meet Laura Curtis, Feisty Female Private Investigator.

Bored by the mundane, Laura Curtis craves excitement and danger, she thrives on it. She is soon to be reminded of the old saying…be careful what you wish for.

Out of the blue Laura receives a call from a woman who requests, almost demands, a meeting. Her daughter has been abducted and she reasons, a female private detective is the best option for tracking down and returning her child.

The mother is so distraught Laura is persuaded to take the case on; her task is to find and rescue the child from her violent and abusive father. She knows it will be anything but a fun thriller; she certainly doesn’t anticipate all the twists and turns that lead to dangerous and life threatening events.

Her search for the child begins on the other side of the world. And ominously, the sexy investigator soon discovers she’s not the only one searching.

Fortunately she’s aided by her new friend and advisor, the very capable Detective Sergeant Tom Cousins of the Sydney police. Trouble is, he’s also an attractive man and Laura faces romantic temptation.

Before long they are caught in the middle of a major drugs investigation, one which stretches all the way to America. Laura loves travel, but this is not what she has bargained for and she’s desperate to re-unite with her family.
