Clockwise-Counterclockwise Observer Misinterpretation for Rotating Vortices

This paper explains how viewpoint has misled us to believe that low and high pressure systems rotate in different directions in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres of Earth and other planetary, stellar and galactic bodies.

The discussion will show that  low pressure systems on Earth rotate in the same direction as the solid body, the planet, while high pressure systems rotate opposite to the planet's direction of rotation, no matter what hemisphere you are in.
