This reader explores the different ways community arts projects can bring people together. It includes profiles of the following: a choir consisting of students and nursing home residents, the Muntu Dance Theater, which teaches African culture and history, the art of storytelling and how it helps people understand their own culture as well as the cultures of others, and community murals.
