In this document collection, students will evaluate a selection of primary sources to grapple with important questions regarding how the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 impacted the lives of migrants coming to the United States and whether the act offered an example of the importance of immigration policy for understanding changes throughout recent American history. Students are guided through their analysis of the primary sources with an author-provided learning objective, central question, and historical context.
