The ending of the series, Gary has gained his sanity back along with his soul. He continues to expose truths that he's experienced and dealt with. He begins to build back the relationships he has with his family and friends. He also goes through a lot of emotions to end the series as he speaks his truth about life, the police force and how society has changed in so many ways in regards to police and citizens. The big question is what is his next move in his life now that he is no longer on the police force.
