The day of the T-uni entrance exam. Kotoko sees the unenthusiastic Naoki off at the examination site. But at the entrance Kotoko doubles over in pain and has to be taken to hospital by Naoki. So Naoki doesn't take the exam... Feeling responsible for this Kotoko tries to leave the Irie household but Naoki finds her. Irie tells her " If you're here, life will be more exciting and more interesting..." He talks about going to the same university as her.
