John Giordano and his brother Joseph were incremental in the story of the Gambino crime family in the 1980s. John was a dapper dresser and a right hand man for Gambino boss John Gotti. In 1989 Joseph Giordano was indicted in the murder of convicted drug dealer Robert Wyler. Wyler's body was discovered in the back of a car parked only blocks from a Staten Island auto shop. John Giordano was charged with multiple violations of the Organized Crime Control Act. A frequenter of the Ravenite Social Club, the venue is where John Giordano rendezvoused with Gotti.
