This work is an adventure into a colony of angels. Those angels are Geishas, while the colony is the land of the Rising Sun. The book is endued with magic realism. Because of this, both real and unreal names of persons and things are employed in order to highlight the cardinal virtues of the Yoruba culture—love, morality, temperance, prudence, valor, justice, honor, honesty and fortitude of the novel and to bring them closest to the contemporariness of the human hearts.
