Most of the time, our actions are the results of our ignorance, our failure in understanding the impact of using a disposable, plastic spoon instead of a reusable steel spoon. It is not that we are unaware or incapable of ways to lead a better sustainable life (our previous generations have done that), but the current generations are being taught a life that encourages consumerism. The faster a product reaches the trash can, the sooner the consumer will buy a new one. Most manufacturers seldom reflect on the impact of waste that can't be recycled.
