"And from that moment on the night of the new moon they would stand out there and chart the stars and she would give them names as he taught her their natures. She told him of her dreams to touch the mountains, stand on the sand of the distant sea. So while her scribes taught her of the natural world, all which reigns over the wilds, he would show her how to scry from the reflections in the waters.
They'd make up stories about the heavens and the creatures that roamed outside the realm. They'd play them out in the gardens to entertain the trades. As time went on the stories grew and spread. Elaborate scenes with many players performed before the court. Her song would pacify the company captive in her dance. His soliloquies a truce of point of views at odds."
